The Public Domain Players theater company primarily engages with works within the public domain in a research-driven and accessible light. As we present student-produced performances, we provide a bridge between past and contemporary audiences through adaptation, emerging methodologies, and spectator-driven entertainment. We also strive to collaborate with the graduate and undergraduate student populations from various majors at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) and the surrounding community.
